Reflective and bold; calm on the surface, restless underneath. I’m drawn to structure, but I trust instinct when it interrupts. I’m playful with symbols, serious about composition, and always looking for meaning inside the abstract.
The Beginning
It wasn’t a single moment or person. It was the need to slow things down. Painting became a way to make sense of noise, to turn everyday impressions, memories, and emotions into something I could hold still and look at. Over time, it shifted from escape to language, a way to say things that don’t work as words.
My Vision
I hope they feel a quiet pause, a moment of recognition without needing an explanation. I want the work to feel open but intentional, familiar yet slightly off, so it invites curiosity rather than answers. Ideally, it leaves them with a lingering sense that something is happening beneath the surface, and that they’re welcome to bring their own meaning to it.
My Style
Layered and balanced, with calm structures interrupted by small, unexpected signals. Think muted landscapes made of shapes, soft edges meeting crisp lines, and simple symbols drifting through like traces or memories. The work feels quiet at first, but the longer you stay with it, the more movement and tension you notice.
